Underneath a curtain of dread
We bow our heads as the sky
Turns to a horrifying red
To a chorus of deafening cries
Our trembling hands unable
To soothe the pounding fear
From all the horrors that we
Have caused to happen here

Oh Father if we′re free then please tell me why
Do we drink from all this poison that will make us die?
And so as this filth drips down from off our lips
We never question why the water makes us sick


The integrity of our resolve
Now decays with every moment here
And in our weakness we welcome
Into our hearts controlling fear
In the killing fields of our design
Where we die without volition
Now just looks of terror remain
In the husks that have 'come our prisons

We know in our hearts
As the fire we started begins to engulf the world around us
That we carry the blame
But we do not bare any shame for what we have done
And here now we can only watch on in horror
Unable to stop this plague of madness that has taken us all
It is this moment where we have birthed our new empire
And it is in this moment where we watch our future die
