Let It Fly Songtext

Let It Fly Songtext
The average day in this mind doesn′t seem so scary
But if you took it for a spin
Walked in these shoes for a little bit you'd run a mile
And though I′ve been afraid to really admit it
There's a crumbling rubble heap where there
Used to be a fragile heart that used to beat
And now
I don't want to restart it
I like the stillness of it
There′s beauty in its release
And now I don′t want to bury it
No hiding it away
In shameful lost and hidden ways
I will let it fly
I've lost count of the times i′ve lost it lately
With my own unresponsive inabilities to let it go
All the time I have spent fighting replays and
I can't seem to stop it all happening from the word go anyway
But if you took it for a spin
Walked in these shoes for a little bit you'd run a mile
And though I′ve been afraid to really admit it
There's a crumbling rubble heap where there
Used to be a fragile heart that used to beat
And now
I don't want to restart it
I like the stillness of it
There′s beauty in its release
And now I don′t want to bury it
No hiding it away
In shameful lost and hidden ways
I will let it fly
I've lost count of the times i′ve lost it lately
With my own unresponsive inabilities to let it go
All the time I have spent fighting replays and
I can't seem to stop it all happening from the word go anyway
