Socks Songtext

Socks Songtext

When I was thirteen
We moved out to the suburbs
When I looked out in the yard one day
I thought I saw a bear

I was mistaken
Turns out it was just a cow, so
As a joke people got me lots of cow-related wear
And the whole point of this story is that
I got tons of cow socks
When I say tons of cow socks we′re talkin' 47 pairs

Socks
They can be practical and logical
Or have a touch of whimsy
That reminds you of your fail

Socks
They come in blue and black and tan
But they can also be cow-spotted
With ears, a face, and tail
So many possibilities
But cow socks are the socks for me

Now the days have passed
When all my socks were cow-related
But sometimes I still wear them
As a throwback to the past

Socks
They can be practical and logical
Or have a touch of whimsy
That reminds you of your fail

Socks
They come in blue and black and tan
But they can also be cow-spotted
With ears, a face, and tail
So many possibilities
But cow socks are the socks for me
