My most fun or stressful days
′Cause by Friday I must deliver on

To share with you the best song I could make up in a pinch
But it doesn't always go off without a hitch

Thursday night brain farts
Thursday night writer′s block
As I try to craft something brilliant
While keeping one eye on the clock


Thursday night stressing
Wondering what I'm gonna do
But, man, do I love writing stupid songs for you

Most weeks you have suggestions that make it really hard to choose
When I'm flooded with tons of great ideas
I know I probably can′t lose
So I pick the one that feels the best
And I give it a go
Hope that you guys don′t say, "Oh, Beth, just no"

Then sit back 'til next week
When I start it all anew
