I went home and searched for god on crowded streets
I came home and searched for guidance on tv
I threw dice all evening waiting for the number
Something to ease this restless dog inside of me

While the fire died in the snow on my screen
Now the community feels lone and it feels bare
And the authorities put cameras in my dreams

The sun sets over the highways and the mountains
The sun goes down to meet the dying sea
Now the moon watches my every sleepless hour
Grab my coat, go meet the moon
