I′m alright, I know it took a little time
But everything has come together since you left
I got upset and then I got a little fat
But now I'm finally at my fighting weight again It sure toughened some things, I felt I′d had enough
I guess I really took it on the chin
But by gum, I knocked in the winning run
'Cause it was time I started letting freedom ring


Now just between us, there were three or four bad weeks
But then I saw it was a blessing in disguise
I bounced back and after analyzing all the facts
I'm happy that you′re seeing other guys
I′m fine now and my hair's no longer falling out
I′m learning how to play the violin
I took up tai chi and bought a puppy
'Cause I finally started letting freedom ring
