Riverlyn Songtext

Riverlyn I don′t say it enough
The way my bruises melt when I feel your touch
The castles I built of the sand that once spilled from the hourglass
The roses that bloomed and the time that assumed I gave it back
But I didn't

Riverlyn I don′t thank you enough
For the dreams and the hope that someday we must
And the heartbreak that followed like tired hands to a waiting well
And the season that swallowed itself like an imploding shell

Riverlyn I thought I drove you away
Like the witchcraft wonder or the curse of the fae
And I drew our love like you drew your weighted blade
And we fenced til you won with your wisdom and a coup fourré

I don't honestly believe
That I met you cause of destiny
But it's something I fight from time to time to time

Riverlyn their is a secret unknown
The burning spire and the crumbling catacombs
I wield a curse and you spoke the verse to free my soul
And it washes away like the cut bank in May when the rains come in
