Jericho Songtext
von Behold the Beloved

Sometimes His ways are hard to understand
Stuck praying in circles asking "what is Your plan?"
You struggle for reasons, you keep marching on
When nothing happens, no progress is shown

So hold on, be strong
Be faithful to His call
Hold on, be strong

′Cause this might be your sixth time around Jericho
His promise is true, the Lord will come through
Your 39th year in the wilderness
Put your hand in the Father's
He′ll lead you to rest
So hold on
(Just hold on)

Been wandering for so long in this dry and thirsty land
Grab hold of the promise of His healing hand
Like a pillar of fire from dusk until dawn
The Spirit is leading the children of God

So hold on, be strong
Be faithful to His call
Hold on, be strong

'Cause this might be your sixth time around Jericho
His promise is true, the Lord will come through
Your 39th year in the wilderness
Put your hand in the Father's
He′ll lead you to rest

Don′t back down the walls will fall
Don't back down the walls will fall
Don′t back down the walls will fall
Don't back down the walls will fall down

The God that began a good work in you
Will be faithful to follow it through
The God that began a good work in you
Will be faithful to follow it through

So hold on, be strong
Hold on, be strong

′Cause this might be your sixth time around Jericho
His promise is true, the Lord will come through
Your 39th year in the wilderness
Put your hand in the Father's
He′ll lead you to rest

Don't turn back now
The walls will fall down
