The sky came crashing down
The time was near to me
My people gone
And I am the only one
Look to the stars I see
Fire coming down

A way to stay alive
Hammer, steel and nails
All within a code
I write my world here
A way to escape this dying earth
Cities drawn from in my mind
All built by a pen
Fill them all with life
So this crushing loneliness is gone forever


With this life
I saw another chance
At things I never had
A feeling that I longed for
I wrote her perfectly
And she became my own
Everything I wanted
A queen for all eternity
Time was scarce
And these two worlds
Lived concurrently
I checked from time to time
Before I made my final trip
I looked around, said goodbye
To my former home
And stepped through the gate
Never to return again
