So few remaining, rainwater rats
Fewer could tell you
What the nickname meant
They still live and die near
An aging railway line
Blessed once an hour by it′s passing
When the siren broke silence
Heralding mid day
I'd rant and curse the awakening
I was tinder sparked and smoking
The air raid wasn′t helping
My head was in the clouds
And My wheels were spinning
The only thing that never breaks
Constant passing, thundering rails
Logan county had me Screaming bloody murder
With the constant sound
Of thundering rails
Now my face has come to show
Telltale lines of age
Mark of a reckless type of living
I wrap myself in warm contempt
For nostalgic passing fancies
Never had a peak to recall
Don't believe in glory days
