For fear that if I go too far

Knowing who I'll disappoint
Why I care about the thoughts of dead people
Is not the point

I've got a death sentence
It′s not my fault
I have to deal with everything else on top

And we can bask in the silence

Watching time go by is never the same
When I'm responding to a name
I fucking hate

I′ll keep it as long as I can take
I said I'd make you proud
But not how I would do it

Some days I thought
That I would neversleep again
I thought I′d never
See a rainy day the same

Sometimes I wish
I had a different fucking brain
I guess I'll always be
