Deep in the forest
Untouched by time
Untouched by sword
Evil or crime
There lived a young boy
Dreams in his head
Of power and greatness
Of his path ahead

As the fires burned
Did his heart and his past
One brief moment, but scars
They′re here to last
As the fortunes turned
There was no time to mourn
Out of ashes heroes are born


Now is the time to
Rise up again
Taking the leap
All through the pain
Past lies heavy
Heavy as led
Haunting him ever
In dreams in his bed

As the fires burned
Did his heart and his past

They're here to last
As the fortunes turned
There was no time to mourn
Out of ashes heroes are born

They say all wounds are healed by time
But for now, solace I can′t find
I walk in an empty void
Of a world that lies destroyed
An empty heart still bleeds
No light in the dark does gleam
All dreams seem out of reach
I pray for a rebirth at dawn
