crushed by the stone, Sisyphean

A weight that never leaves my chest
In this cycle lost I drown

Forever cursed to climb
Endless weight, inside of time
Fingers claw at dust and bone
Left under an unturned stone

A hollow world to ground my mind
The summit′s peak a fleeting sign
I know we suffer in vain
When silence answers once again


Vagrant eyes no reset
Lost in the climb I'm laid to rest
Thorn in my side I′m wearing thin
Living under my skin

Screaming winds that steal my breath
Only the stone and eternal summit break

Holocene dreams a fleeting taste
Impermanence wraps me in its embrace
