Smothered by light
We find ourselves blindly following nothing

The ghosts that built these foundations no longer walk amongst us
Encased in stone and now forgotten we are forsaken
The gods that once we prayed for have moved on and left us all to die
The gods we prayed for never thought that we′d survive

You abandoned and left us to rot
You swore salvation if we followed thee
Now we beg you to look in the mirror

Phantoms and spectres nobody else sees
Bodies forgotten and left to disease
What feels like centuries have passed as we wander these streets
The sun blocked by clouds, pavement swallows our feet

Resurrect the dead, to take back everything we thought we had

Enduring self-perpetuating rage to take back life again
Exorcise our home and take control, the only hope we have left
