Chasing the Sun Songtext
von Aphelion

Round and round the world goes, and we′re
Spinning out of control
The air is growing thick, we choke
On all the hate and lies we're breathing in now
Drifting farther from the pace
We′re losing sight of the human race
And if we looked around, we'd see
Everything we've come to be
That′s one small step for...
Man
We′re running faster in the wrong direction
We're chasing the sun again
We′re going backwards with the best intentions
Chasing the sun again
Everything falls apart, as we're
Running from the dark
The air is growing cold and stale
Do we hope to win or are we afraid to fail?

Drifting farther from the pace
We′re losing sight of the human race
And if we looked around, we'd see
Everything we′ve come to be
That's one small step for...
Man
We're running faster in the wrong direction
We′re chasing the sun again
We′re going backwards with the best intentions
Chasing the sun again
Falling away
We're in retrograde
That′s one small step for...
Man
We're running faster in the wrong direction
We′re chasing the sun again
We're going backwards with the best intentions
Chasing the sun again
