Birds don′t sing
It's like they know what′s coming
Everything collides
And when the black clouds form on sodden ground
No one here survives

So we feed ourselves on the empty
And breathe in their lies
While the water brings no cleansing
Just reflects strangers' eyes

We scream, who are we to know?
Who are we to question?
At the end of it all
Truth's too hard to mention

Buildings fall and the herd start running
Chased out by the skies
When all that comes from broken dreams
Are burnt out empty tries


That feed themselves on the empty
And breathe out their lies
While the water we′ve been treading
Gets deeper all the while
