Through the shrubs and moss
Of this macabre forest
Grey snow is falling

Among the shadows
Where the scavengers lurk
Death spies on you through the branches


Lost in the trees maze
You think you can run away
But the roots chain you

Blood of the fallen
As an ice sheet on the boughs
Brings a sickly smell

Suffocate in the shadows
Among the dying trees
In the absence of light

Your body slowly festers
And the ravens shall erase
Any trace of your presence
