TV Songtext

TV Songtext

TV is great too
You know what I love about television?
Television is the true barometer of America, right?
If you want to know what we′re thinking, don't listen to those polls
And they got those pie charts in the USA Today, forget all that
Just watch what we watch on television
Like the election, what was the big issue in the election?
The moral values of America, yeah, right

Desperate Housewives is the number-one show on TV
I don′t think there's a lot of moral values going on there
I did learn something watching that show, though
I didn't know that white women just hang around
The house waiting to fuck strangers all day
Really, if this comedy don′t work out, I′ma go become a gardener

Television changed in 2004
It was one moment that changed television forever
We all remember where we were at at that exact moment
Sitting at home, minding your own business, watching the Super Bowl
Next thing you know, bam! Janet Jackson's titty
Right? And America came to a stop, man
There was no talk of war, no terrorism
There′s a titty on my television
What the hell is going on?

And the thing was, we weren't even sure it was a titty when it first happened
You know, because it happened so fast
You′re like, "Was that a titty? I think it was a titty"
Then they came back in slow motion, see, I told you it was a titty
There's a titty on my television
What about the children?
They always put that on the end, right?
What about the children?
You know something was good for the children

Those children got to see Janet Jackson′s
Beautiful, round, surgically-enhanced titty
Not those raggedy-ass National Geographic titties we grew up with
I say those kids have something to shoot for
