A New Heart Songtext
von Afterglow

A new heart to help me see more clearly
Help me love more nearly like my Savior′s love for me
I need a new love to change my heart completely
Fill my life as sweetly as my Savior's love for me

I′ve read the words they wrote
I've heard the things they said
How all at once a change would come
Forever heart and head
I've heard that overnight
A heart becomes brand new
But I just keep on struggling
To make that change come true

And I′ll try to live life every day
To find my way to Thee
But of all the things You′ve offered me
This change is what I need

A new heart to help me see more clearly
Help me love more nearly like my Savior's love for me
I need a new love to change my heart completely
Fill my life as sweetly as my Savior′s love for me

Until my heart is broken
My heart cannot be healed
Until my heart has found humility
For though He stands awaiting
The latch is on my side
This door cannot be opened but by me

I need a new heart to help me see more clearly
Help me love more nearly like my Savior's love for me
I need a new love to change my heart completely
Fill my life as sweetly as my Savior′s love for me

I need a new heart to help me see more clearly
Help me love more nearly like my Savior's love for me
I need a new love to change my heart completely
Fill my life as sweetly as my Savior′s love for me
