Brooding Silhouettes Songtext

The river calls upon you
At the foot of the mountain
Let go of what you are
And become one with the serpent

The engravings on the walls
Foretold this cursed day
Unspoken ancient tongues
The moment of our final breath
From our thousand years of slumber
We are finally awakened

Shattering glasses and soaring trees
Fragile existence of holy beings
Monumental creations by hands of man
O beauty of nature shine at me again

Our ship has long set sail, lead us home
From this man-made storm (storm)
Where we are sought (Where we are sought)
Where we are not (Where we are not)
Distracted by our inflicted hearts
The swarm of shrieking cold
Steadily taking its toll
Wandering through this plane of steel
Lost we seek redemption
With hearts so bleak

The flooding springs of loathe
The waves will crush us both
Let us all be forgotten
As we forgot our oath
O thou winds awaken
Bring our death
