Polarity Songtext
von Adam Derry

Polarity Songtext

She blames it all on bipolarity,
She only really loves one side of me.
Says I′m drinking too excessively,
And I dont seem to care.

She walks down Bowery with her headphone on,
She smokes a cigarette and sings along
She takes a train home at the break of dawn,
And I'm not even there.

Is it really me?
Is it really you?
Is there really anything that we can do girl?
Miss popularity, Mr independantly,
I dont think that we can be together anymore.
oh yeah

She bares a picture on her bedroom wall,
One night outside Radio Music Hall.
I held the camera out and stood real tall,
I stared while she smiled.

But I keep making her mascara bleed,
She keeps runnin for the telephone everytime I leave.
Says "I dont know you boy, do you know me?"
And I say "you misdialed"

Well Is it really me?
Is it really you?
Is there really anything that we can do girl?
Miss popularity, Mr independantly,
I dont think that we can be together anymore.
Oh yeah

She says "love you" when she′s insecure,
I dont say anything if I'm not sure.
She wont stop crying when look at her,
Sayin "why dont you love me?"

She plays her records and her lullabies
Pretty my baby and green my eyes
She hides her secrets til I say goodbye
She's leaving me empty.

Well Is it really me?
Is it really you?
Is there really anything that we can do girl?
Miss popularity, Mr independantly,
I dont think that we can be together anymore.
