All Hallows Eve Songtext
von Ad Infinitum

A brown leaf falls upon a tattered page
A calendar left lying in the sun
The canticle of fall
Is shouldered by the saints
A chill wind blows the page
To thirty-one

The priests prayer calls out
To a silent god
While twilight summons
Spirits from their rest
She signs the cross while crying
In the church yard
And hopes her fate turns
From cursed to blessed

And oh how she dreams for yesterday
But now that it all seems so far away

Fall leaves fall, an autumn waterfall
Under the stars, she knows
He can′t be far
And they'll meet again,
At the world′s end

Fall leaves fall, beyond the garden wall
Beneath the moon, the dead the dead
The dead will rise soon
For those who believe,
On this hallows eve

The tower bell tolls
The midnight hourThe sleepers toss and
turn in their bedsThe symphony of silent sorrow
Wakes the night
And frees the swarming spirits
And the dead
The specter's reign of terror
Lasts till the morrow
She joins her love,
No longer time to grieve
For those who believe,
On this hallows eve

Catch the leaves
Do you believe?
Soul's reprieve
On this all hallows eve
