Followed fast until the song betook myself
Unto did it outpour
Velvet sinking, melancholy burdening
Uttered, "What thy lordly?"
Startled as the stillness kind from the unseen
Burned deep into my core
Floating a desolate yet undaunted chant
Speaking the word, nevermore

Demon streaming on this land, a haunted home
Shadows at the door
Floating above the lifted dreams of mystery
Silence comes unbroken
Beating of my heart I stood entreating here
Angels along the shore
Doubtless broken by reply so aptly
