As I paint these shields
I am reminded, each must be used only once
And to re-use it is a lazy lazy afternoon brunch
Yes recently
I′ve been doing that quite a bit
Measuring, painting and building
Faster than the hits can affect me
I have made a decision To continue spending time building shields
To get closer to you
Beyond my vision
The wardrobe of finely crafted steel
Could have been larger
At least from where I'm standing right now
I have been careless
