Abandoning Shadows Songtext
von Absentia

Drowning hopes and dreams
Currents of rivers stream
Nature′s fury
Drags me down... deep

Into depths of darkness
Where I disturb the giant's sleep

Chained in exploding passion

I forget to fly
Yet I learn to
Become the skies

Blindfolds slowly
Embrace my eyes
Soul eroding, lifted up

To join the echoes
Of blackness
Frozen in... time

Stepping outside of this cave
Abandoning shadows
And reflections

Willing to die in harm′s way
To see the glimmering light of hope
