Black Candle Gathering Songtext
von Abhorrent Decimation

Kneel before the fields of gold

A question burning, the need to implore
The flame is glowing, the purpose is spreading
Supplies are needed for the eve they endure
They must elect a hunter to gather

"Who will go from this place and return as a king?
Veiled by the flesh of night, go fetch some bread and wine
Guided by candlelight"

Kindle the fires of greed, Black Candle Gathering
Thrive on the burning of purity
Raging the flames of gluttony, Black Candle Gathering
Thrive on the burning of purity

Kneel before the fields of gold and you will see

The youngest soul pulls the shortest of straws
To leave the fold and venture for rations
Brothers of valour, they will harbour the gold
Shy of the dawn will three emerge?

I will go from this place and return as a king
Veiled by the flesh of night
I′ll fetch some bread and wine
Guided by candle light

Kindle the fires of greed, Black Candle Gathering
Thrive on the burning of purity
Raging the flames of gluttony, Black Candle Gathering
Thrive on the burning of purity

Kneel before the fields of gold and you will see your beckoning

Kindle the fires of greed, Black Candle Gathering
To thrive on the burning of purity
Raging the flames of gluttony, Black Candle Gathering
To thrive on the burning of purity

This wretched summoning, the evil wealth of death
Poison the well from which they drink
My vision wuthering, a hateful venom
Lace the fatal chalice with the contagion
