To hide away the truth you saw and feared
Disguised, but filled with love
We cried, I shoved

And I don′t have too much to say to you
That you would trust as true

All the pain I gave to you
Was rooted in the lack
Of self-love I felt for myself
This pain I can't take back

And I don′t have the words to say to you
That you would trust as true


And like a dream I brushed this off
As if it were not real
But dreams are made of thoughts that bounce
Around from what we feel

I can never make this up to you
But I am willing to change

And I won't wait too long
For you to find your way back home
I know I've got to move along
