they spend all of their spare time rehearsing their songs all night
forty hours a week at work
but they never have a penny left for rent
they spend it all one thing, something they call everything
they stay focused on their dreams hoping it′s worth the work and the money spent
and the lights come on, and the curtain opens
and they see the fans, one, two... ten
ten people in the audience screaming for them
one for each week of practice they put in
wishing so bad that they could skip this step and just have it all
but you can't survive the fight unless you learn how to take a fall their friends all call them crazy, their family says they′re just lazy
mocking what they say
but every word they said they meant
while the years pass by like nothing, their quote "friends", they leave like nothing
they stay focused on their dreams, hoping it's worth the work and the money spent

now they're always telling everyone to enjoy the ride
