The Bird Songtext
von A-J Hak

The little bird is sitting on the doorstep
Waiting for Charlie bringing crumbs and bread
Down, down, down, down
It was one of those days where the wind was cool
A chill in the air and I felt like a fool
Down, down, down, down

I wanna be happy like the bird
I just wanna be happy like the bird
And I won′t go down, down, down, down
And I won't go down, down, down, down

Summer is over, do you think that′s fair?
Charlie the rest and the big brown bear
Down, down, down, down
Dancing around, smiling at the bird
Connecting the wire and I knew I was heard
Down, down, down, down

I wanna be happy like the bird
I just wanna be happy like the bird
And I won't go down, down, down, down
And I won't go down, down, down, down

Like the bird
Like the bird
Down, down, down, down
And I won′t go down, down, down, down

The moment is right and the bird is fine
Shaking its head opening those cute eyes
Down, down, down, down
One last look at each other′s eyes
And we both knew that we're ready to fly
Down, down, down, down

I′m ready to fly with you
I'm ready to fly with you
And I won′t go down, I'll fly with you
And I won′t go down, I'll fly with you
And I won't go down, I′ll fly with you
And I won′t go down, I'll fly with you
I′ll fly with you
