A Mere Shift of Origin Songtext

My father used to tell me that a righteous
Man should always put his interests first
"You can′t make anyone happy if you're not happy"
, He said, his hand grasping firmly my shoulder
All my life I thought it would be free to go anywhere
Free to meet anyone, free to enjoy every moment
My way, it had always been my way, and as soon as I stopped
Feeling pleased and happy, my bags were on the backseat
Of my car and I joined a rave in my auntie′s house's walls
Fading architecture through my window would always inspire me
I would immerse in this constant dynamic and never had
To stop, never had to feel an inch of it one more time
I loved the smell of good sugar
I used to fill my lungs with it, keep it in me until I got dizzy

But when that time passed out, I started to wonder
What went wrong in the main reason of my confusion?
I remember the cities I've left behind
So many places where I never built anything
I remember all my old friends I had betrayed
My being a selfish bastard, a useless ghost
My life has always been about escaping, about moving, about
Everything I′ve done leaving it, was a mercheft of origin
My father used to tell me
Confusion
Mercheft of origin
Fading architectures
Confusion
Mercheft of origin
