I was driving fast to Rambouillet
Was feeling like the king of the highway
Left my kids and wife back, oh yeah
I have no family anyway

Saw a hitchhiker on the side of the road
Seemed friendly, offered me to pay for the gas
I didn′t mind taking an extra load
He stole my car, and kicked my ass


He drove half a mile and crashed in a tree
I guess he wasn't the greatest driver
So there′s a lesson you can learn from me
If you're stealing my car, you might as well be sober

Got my crate back all battered
Gave him a spanking, had it coming
Crying on my car, sadly all shattered
Now I find myself hitchhiking
