Aesthetically, perhaps I′m not too pleasing
You wouldn't introduce me to your friends
Your shoulder isn′t cold, my love; it's freezing
Toward all the fawning poetry I've penned

Though I may be offensive to your senses
And worse yet to your sensibilities
I know when I′m around I′ll never lower your defences
But your heart beat loses its stability

You'll never know what its like to be me
How can you empathise with a different breed?
You′ll never know what its like to be me at all


I wasn't born - I was made; so I′m quite mature for my age
These boys can say they love you but they have no clue
And even though my paper's frayed
I′m sure we're still on the same page
It's just a shame I know I′ll never have you
You′ll never let me close enough to hold you tight
But despite my frightful face I'm quite the charmer
So I′ll keep all your photographs close to me at night
As I dream of being your knight in shining armour

Manufactured to feel lust, but incapable of seduction
Tease me if you must, but I must leave you one instruction:
I'm not sure how well I′m put together; I think I'm falling apart
So please be particularly careful with my heart
