Reality from afar

Into a world of uncertainty and shooting stars

The understanding of letting go
A well of knowledge and fear
With the coming dawn
Following through on a night no more to reappear

A future told to reflect the age
Aglow yet fading anew
From behind the clouds
Burning itself out, the sun that never quite withdrew
