The Dry War Songtext

The Dry War Songtext

You got an out of control army, in a country you′re not welcome
It's been a decade since it started now, the start has been forgotten and it′s clear now no-one had no weapons of destruction
Except an idiot American with an AK-47

It went 6 English soldiers, 16 women and children
Army vehicles, booby traps and point blank shootings
Burning the Quran in its own back garden while the problems at home were multiplying
Did you really give a shit about the oil?
Are you worried that the water will run out as well?
There's no water in the desert, but there's plenty in the tap
So why don′t you just all come back

We′ve been fighting over nothing until we make it worthless
Now we're fighting over oil because we make so much stuff from it now
There′s fighting at the petrol station, fist fights at the pumps
It's like nobody told us it was all running out

It went 6 litres of petrol, 16 bottles of evian
Imagine dehydration wrapped inside a hosepipe ban
The bottle runs dry and things get nasty
On a summers day when England′s thirsty
And you know what all the rich people will do
They'll gather up the water and sell it back to you
And if you can′t afford it well that's you're tough luck
That′s why we′re fucked
