On july 6th we set the sails
Towards whitby
Leaving varna
Sailing the black sea
Eight men we were
A journey to start
The homeland in mind
And god in our hearts

After few days
The crew was full of fear
And on night number ten
The first sailor disappeared
Only eight nights later
Witnessed by the moon
He was followed
By sailor number two


Five days and four nights
I lost no more man
But at the same night
Death struck again
The very next night
All prayers had failed
′Cause another three souls
Have been taken away

On august the 3rd
The last member of my crew
Told me about the horror
That he ran into
My captain come with me
There's no other way out
These were the last words
Before he jumped over board

I can′t escape my woe
Mustn't leave my ship alone
I'm at the mercy of my foe

Now i stand here
Bound on the wheel
Trying to reach my family pier
As daylight fades
And the sun goes down
Another night is about to come


A sound behind my back
Sends me chills through my pine
Something is approaching me
To end my life
The death is coming
I feel so forlorn
I speak a last prayer
May god help my soul
