Yelling children and a schoolbell was ringing
Colourless thoughts from eight till four

Amsterdam another dark city
Where heroinfaces
Still hanging around

All these touristboats strangers at night
Walked down the street with the red light so bright
And then they observed the left and the right
While hiding their faces like thieves in the night
Amsterdam dark grey and cold
I remember exactly what my teacher once told
These words are banging like a hammer in my head
