The Beautiful Unknown Songtext
von Surrender the Crown

The Beautiful Unknown Songtext

Her scent is that of summer
And her taste is that of rain
All is brighter so much warmer than before
I feel wide awake and full of life when she′s with me
When she leaves, she always leaves me wanting more

The more I'm letting go
The more she reaches for my hand
The more I let down my defenses
The steadier I stand

I open my eyes and I don′t know if I'm still dreaming
And she watches me walking down this path that's overgrown
I′m not sure where it goes but I can see the beacons gleaming
Over mountains and hills to the beautiful unknown

What makes her perfect is the fact that she is not
Sometimes I wonder whether I deserve this grace
Whenever I see beauty taking shape in front of me
There is something that reminds me of her face

The more I′m letting go
The more she reaches for my hand
The more I let down my defenses
The steadier I stand

I open my eyes and I don't know if I′m still dreaming
And she watches me walking down this path that's overgrown
I′m not sure where it goes but I can see the beacons gleaming
Over mountains and hills to the beautiful unknown

Speaking her name is
Casting a spell that makes me feel so fine
She knows exactly what she has to do to turn water into wine
Every little thing she does is magic as it were
It's hard to believe in religion the way that I believe in her

I open my eyes and I don′t know if I'm still dreaming
And she watches me walking down this path that's overgrown
I′m not sure where it goes but I can see the beacons gleaming
Over mountains and hills to the beautiful unknown

Over mountains and hills to the beautiful unknown
