Blame It on Me Songtext
von George Ezra

Blame It on Me Songtext

The garden was blessed by the Gods of me and you
We headed West for to find ourselves some truth, ohh
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?

We counted all our reasons, excuses that we made
We found ourselves some treasure, and threw it all away, ohh
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?

When I dance alone, and the sun′s beating down
Blame it on me
When I lose control and the veil's overused
Blame it on me
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?

Caught in the tide of blossom, caught in the carnival
Your confidence forgotten, I see the gypsies rule, ohh
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?

When I dance alone, and the sun′s beating down
Blame it on me
When I lose control and the veil's overused
Blame it on me

What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?

When I dance alone, and the sun's beating down
Blame it on me
When I lose control and the veil′s overused
Blame it on me
When I dance alone, I know I′ll go
Blame it on me, ohh
When I lose control, I know I'll go
Blame it on me, ooh

What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?
What you waiting for?
No, what you waiting for?

"Excuses THAT we made", "though" macht überhaupt keinen Sinn.

"I see the gypsies ROLL" - wenn die mit ihren Wagen "rollen" macht das für mich mehr Sinn als wenn sie über etwas "regieren" oder "entscheiden".

the sun is beating down, auf deutsch falsch übersezt bluten heisst bleed

Ich kann diesen Schwachsinn schön langsam nicht mehr hören. Tagtäglich wird man damit im Radio bombardiert, es ist unerträglich ...
